The article, written by Enkeleda and Robert Kadiu, shares the inspiring story of our founder, Dr. Enkeleda Kadiu (or Dr. Leda, as she is known by our patients). Dr. Leda’s path in dentistry began at the young age of 16, working as a dental nurse. Despite facing challenges, her determination and passion for dentistry drove her forward. After earning her qualifications and gaining extensive experience, she felt ready to start a new path: owning her own dental practice.
Novo Dental, located in a former Barclays Bank in Winchmore Hill, is the result of planning and a clear vision. Dr. Leda, with her husband Robert’s extensive experience in construction management, transformed the space into a stunning dental practice that highlights patient care, innovation, and comfort.
Robert’s background in managing large-scale construction projects, including care units and operating theatres for King’s College Hospital, provided the perfect foundation for this venture. His expertise ensured that the practice was built to the highest standards, integrating specialist dental equipment.
One of the standout features of Novo Dental is the emphasis on natural light and spaciousness. Dr. Leda’s experience working in a small practice in Notting Hill Gate influenced her vision for Novo Dental. She prioritised creating a welcoming and nice environment where patients feel relaxed. This vision is evident in the design of the practice, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and spacious rooms filled with natural light.
Each of our three surgeries at Novo Dental has its own unique ambience, designed to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. The principal’s marble room features marble and gold accents, inspired by Dr. Leda’s love for gold and pearls. The specialist forest room includes a green chair and a forest feature wall, while the hygiene and therapy tropical room reflects a tropical feature wall and ceiling light. These thoughtfully designed spaces ensure a positive and calming experience for our patients.
At Novo Dental, we are committed to providing high-end care using state-of-the-art tools such as OPG/CBCT scanners and intraoral cameras. Our contemporary Belmont Eurus S6 chairs with folding leg rests allow for face-to-face interactions with patients, enhancing the overall experience. This innovative approach, combined with personalised attention, has been met with high excitement from our patients.
